SOUPER SUNDAY:
On the first Sunday of each month, everyone is warmly invited to join us for Souper Sunday—a time of community and connection during our all-church potluck.
Please bring a favourite dish to share, and enjoy a welcoming meal with friends old and new.
Guests are always welcome, and there is no need to bring anything—just bring yourself!
Join us and bring a potluck item to share, such as soup, sandwiches, salad, dessert, fruit tray, veggie tray, or something kid-friendly. Every dish and every guest adds to the celebration.
Our luncheon is held in the sanctuary, with food available in the fellowship hall. There are a variety of seating options—choose whichever you feel most comfortable and enjoy the meal together following the service. If you arrive after service starts, please leave your dish on the table outside the fellowship hall with our volunteer, who will take care of it for you.
NOTE: For everyone's safety and enjoyment, please label if your dish is gluten-free or dairy-free. Kindly avoid ALL NUTS due to severe allergies among some members of our community. Thank you for helping us care for one another!

The Men's Retreat is a three-day, two-night retreat held at Ottawa Valley Pentecostal Camp in Cobden, Ontario. This retreat serves the churches and men of our district and is put on by the Eastern Ontario and Nunavut District of the PAOC.
It is our prayer that every man who attends this year’s Men’s Retreat will be encouraged and challenged to Run to Win. We believe this weekend will be a "reset" for many—a time to throw off what hinders and fix our eyes on Christ.
Sign Up with Pastor Steve.

Join us at Ottawa Valley Pentecostal Camp on Saturday, July 11th, for our annual Ladies Day Event.
Come spend a day with us, where women of all ages can come together to pray, praise, hear the Word of God, worship, and connect with friends.
"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit." Jeremiah 17:7-8

PRAYER CHAIN
We, as a church, believe in prayer and would love to pray for you. A group of people has committed to praying for those in need through our Prayer Chain. Let us know what we can pray for, and we would be honoured to do so.
Click below on the tab and let us know how we can pray or help you get involved in prayer at KPC.
Church is all about growing in our relationship with God and each other, and serving others both inside and outside the church. Stepping out of our church to make a difference for God in the world in which we live brings God's love to others in our community.
“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’” - Mark 16:15
“‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will send you out to fish for people.’ At once they left their nets and followed him.” - Matthew 4:19-20
This natural progression is something each Christian goes through:
Loving God
Growing Together
Serving Others
Going into the World
KPC has a variety of ways for you to get involved. Find out how you can get started by speaking to Pastor Steve, Pastor Josh, or clicking on the volunteer tab below.
Throughout the year we have a variety of church events for children, adults, and families.

Other important times for our church include our Christmas Eve Service, New Year's Eve Event, Easter Service, and Worship Nights. We hope you will get involved and get to know others in the church at these different events!

The importance of prayer is often overlooked. Most of us just pray for God to help us, or to bless us. And most of the time because of our busy lives, prayer is like an afterthought. But why is prayer important? In fact, what is prayer?
Christian prayer is our way of communicating with God. Just like how a child talks and listens to their father, prayer is how we as Christians and children of God converse with Him. And everyone’s conversation with God is different. That is why prayer is the most intimate form of communication that directly connects us to God on a personal level.
Praying to God is simple – all you really have to do is speak to Him with a genuine heart. And the Bible also makes it clear that prayer is really that straightforward. If we call upon the name of the Lord and come to Him in prayer, God listens to us. (Jeremiah 29:12). Prayer is freely given to us by God, which is why we need to understand the importance of prayer.
Hudson Taylor quote captures the true importance of prayer – “When you work, you work. But when you pray, God works.”
