Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

Friday's at 11:30 AM
Come and join us for a weekly community lunch, courtesy of our dedicated local churches, at St John’s United Church in Kemptville. This wholesome and delicious meal is absolutely free of charge and served every Friday at 11:30 am. Meet new people, chat with friendly volunteers, and enjoy the warm and welcoming atmosphere of our community. We look forward to seeing you there!
See Pastor Steve to volunteer to serve at the luncheon or to help with providing food when needed.
The Kemptville Salvation Army Food Bank plays a critical role in helping vulnerable Canadians rise above poverty. Together, thanks to your generous support, we help people meet their most basic needs—including food.
High inflation and food prices are putting one of life’s basic necessities out of reach for so many people. Your generosity will help feed them.
Something as simple as a wholesome meal can bring joy, warmth, and hope to a neighbour in need. Many hungry children, working families, and other vulnerable neighbours are coming to the Food Bank for help.
We as a church support them through food donations, getting involved at their center, and helping with the Salvation Army Food Bank "Fill-a-Bag" campaign.
Every day, dedicated volunteers visit Cobs bakeries to pick up unsold bread and baked goods, which they distribute to those in need through charitable food programs. With daily needs for food in every city, each of our locations proudly gives at the end of each day, contributing to over $250 million in product donations since 2003.
Once a week, a team of Volunteers from KPC drives into Barrhaven to Cobs Bakery to collect donations of baked goods for that day. The baked goods are then sorted and donated to a variety of local charities and families in need of food.
Connect with Lee Sinclair if you would like to get involved in this ministry.
Each year we are a drop-off location for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.
National Collection Week takes place in November of each year.

The "Fill a Bag" Campaign drops bags around Kemptville and they are printed with suggested food donation items. These food donations help those in need this Holiday Season.
On October 10th, the Seniors Group will prepare the bags for drop off to help with the campaign.
Near the end of November, volunteers drop off empty grocery bags to residences in North Grenville. Residents are invited to fill the bag over the course of the week and place the filled bag on their doorstep or at their mailboxes. Volunteers return the following Sunday to collect the filled bags and bring them to the distribution centre.
We as a church help to deliver the empty grocery bags and pick up the filled ones. Volunteers are also needed to sort the donated food and for other administrative tasks.
