The Seniors Ministry at KPC has a goal to create an environment where older individuals can intentionally share their knowledge, support, and values with younger members of the church. This program aims to foster new friendships and ultimately bring people closer to God.
Each month we will be offering new activities to bring seniors from the church and community together in an atmosphere where they can hear the gospel. We also provide opportunities for seniors to show love and support to others from the church and community and to serve others with their gifts and abilities that God has given them.
Our goal is to minister to the body, soul, and spirit of seniors. We want to help people follow Jesus and let them know that they don't have to do that on their own. We meet once a month for a social time with a short devotional to provide an opportunity for all seniors to experience encouragement and community.
This will be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 1-3 PM. Our facility is wheelchair accessible.
Let's enjoy this time together and feel free to bring your friends along!

Join us in January for a discussion led by Tanya Pollard about her book "Memory Stones." This will kick off our Bible Study for the year. The combined cost for her book and the Study Guide is $20, which will be available for purchase at our Potluck on December 12th. We want everyone to have the opportunity to participate, so if the cost poses a challenge, please reach out to Yvonne or Pastor Steve, and we will make arrangements to help.
What if you could face your trials with confidence, trusting that God will be faithful?
Are you tired of stressing out and worrying every time you face a difficult circumstance? When a hardship presents itself, do you only focus on the threat in front of you and completely forget about the God beside you? Or do you remember that He exists but doubt His faithfulness because you acutely recall times in the past when things didn’t work out well—at all?
Tanya Pollard has struggled with this and knows how hard it can be to trust that God is always faithful. But by using God’s instruction to Joshua, she found a way to prove to herself that He is, and she wants you to discover how you too can:
Join Tanya on January 9th from 1-3 pm as she explains what faithful is and what it isn’t and encourages you with the lessons she learned through the rocks in her jar, which reveal who God truly is, how much He dearly loves you, and what faithful really looks like.
One of the best and most insightful books I have read on the practical matter of our trust in God’s faithfulness. Her illustrations really hit home…. At times, I found myself weeping, shouting, and saying “yes” throughout the book. It is honest and realistic, yet hopeful and confident in God’s goodness. And practical. It actually gives the reader devices to anchor into God as a person who is faithful, even when we don’t understand. Tanya, thank you! I highly recommend this book for its honesty, integrity, readability, and practical help in developing a trusting relationship with God.
