Hospitality is a recurring theme in the Bible. It involves people opening their homes and sharing meals with others to create strong bonds of community and friendship. This theme is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago.

Come and join us for a weekly community lunch, courtesy of our dedicated local churches, at St John’s United Church in Kemptville. This wholesome and delicious meal is free of charge and served on Fridays at 11:30 am. Meet new people, chat with friendly volunteers, and enjoy the warm and welcoming atmosphere of our community. We look forward to seeing you there!
If you would like more information about attending or volunteering, please contact Pastor Steve.
Seth and Froeydis cordially invite you to join them once a month for an evening of delicious food from around the world and group prayer. These dinners provide an opportunity to share a meal and fellowship while experiencing the diverse flavors and cultures of the world.
To attend, all you need to do is send us a message or connect with either Seth, Froeydis, or one of the pastors to register. We will provide you with all the details, including the location and time of the dinner. Additionally, if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences, please let us know in advance so that we can make appropriate accommodations. We hope to see you at our next dinner!
Join us on September 7th at 6:30 pm for our next meal together.
At the Missions Cafe, we serve more than just coffee; we serve a purpose.
Our mission is to provide a warm and welcoming space where everyone in our church can gather after service to enjoy coffee, tea, snacks and baked goods; while contributing to the greater good in every cup.
With faith in Christ as our foundation, we're dedicated to supporting local and international missions, ensuring that every sip fuels positive and eternal change.
Join us in savouring the flavour of disciple’s multiplication, one cup at a time. Look for our Missions Cafe Giving Jar to help us with our different Mission Projects and Missionaries.
If you're ready to volunteer for this ministry, click on the link below. We need dedicated volunteers to assist with brewing coffee, setting up and cleaning, and preparing baked goods for the church congregation to enjoy.
Held immediately after service on the first Sunday of each month
(except holidays).
Our next Souper Sunday in December is a potluck gathering, but we want to make it clear that visitors don't have to bring anything. Your presence is what matters most, and we are looking forward to getting to know you better. Because of the size of our congregation, we need to use our sanctuary for the luncheon. You will find a combination of chairs set up in rows and tables with chairs. Please feel free to sit wherever you would like.
Feel free to bring anything you'd like, but here are some ideas of things you can bring:
