Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan's Purse, has delivered millions of gift-filled shoeboxes to boys and girls around the world. We praise God for so many children whose lives have been changed as a result of a simple gift.
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.
Each year in the fall we as a church fill shoeboxes to bless less fortunate children around the world. Please remember to donate a minimum of $10 for each shoebox you prepare to help cover project costs--including shipping - this is just as critical as filling the shoe box!
National Collection Week, Nov. 13–19, 2023:
We are also the drop-off location for our area for individuals, churches, and other organizations to bring their shoeboxes at some point during that week. We will need volunteers to help during that collection week to be onsite to collect and box up all the shoeboxes that are dropped off.
There is a sign-up list in the lobby or you can click on the tab below if you can help receive shoeboxes during any of these times.
Please connect with Jen Johnson or Pastor Steve if you are interested in helping with this program or have any questions.

Whether you have questions or don't know much about God, this is a great place to learn more. If your friends are interested in knowing more about God, you can invite them to join for conversations about faith, life, and God.
Want to learn more about Alpha and about the ways you can be involved, such as leading a group, helping with set up, or making dinner.
Pastor Steve and his wife, Ann, have been involved in full-time ministry for 43 years. A graduate of Master's College & Seminary, Pastor Steve has been serving at KPC since 2004 with Ann by his side. They have 3 children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and 3 grandchildren. Community and family are important to him.
Pastor Josh graduated from Master's College & Seminary in Peterborough. He grew up in the Morrisburg area and has just moved to Kemptville from Orangeville. He is a third-generation pastor who is following the call God has on his life.
Harold is our custodian here at KPC. You will see him around the building throughout the week doing repairs and keeping our church clean. Harold and his wife Dolinda have been attending KPC since March 2022.
The worship teams play a very important role in the Sunday services at our church. This team uses their musical gifts from God to facilitate an atmosphere of musical worship by creating a space for God and his gathered people to meet. God desires us, his people to do what we were created to do - enjoy him and his presence.
Along with Pastor Steve, KPC is governed by an elected Board of elders. Church boards are an essential component of leadership and governance. The church board acts on behalf and for the good of the church relative to the tithes, offerings, mission, and building fund gifts given to it. Churches that grow have pastors and church boards that are in unity in providing spiritual support to one another.
Board Members: Nicole Laberge, Lee Sinclair, Seth Reinhart, Keith Kelsey, and Angela Wood
We are so excited you are interested in Baptism!
We’ve helped many people take the step of being baptized in water and share their stories of how they came to know and trust in Jesus. We'd love to walk with you and guide you as you prepare to take this next step in your faith journey.
Please read the Water Baptism Scriptures and then fill out our Contact Us form online and one of our pastors will will contact you soon to discuss making this happen!
Are you considering getting involved at KPC but concerned if you are qualified enough or "Spiritual enough"...wondering if there is a place for you? Let us give you the short answer, we will be BETTER because of YOU!
Whether you are a shy person or an upfront person, there is a place for you. Whether you can commit to helping weekly, monthly, or helping with a specific event there is a place for you!
Below is a passage of Scripture that explains how each person is vital and plays a part in the church of God.
We strongly believe that passage. We want to be disciple making disciples. God frees His people and gives them gifts and talents so that we may serve Him and others, as an act of worship. In the process, we become more like Christ, who came to serve, rather than to be served. Where is God calling you to serve?
If you are interested in an opportunity to get involved please connect with us and we will find a place for you to be involved.
If you have any questions about church membership, like what it means and why one might consider it, please feel free to contact one of our pastoral staff. They will be happy to chat with you about this next step in your faith journey.
You can fill out our Contact Us form online and one of our pastors will get in contact with you about this.
