The Seniors Ministry at KPC has a goal to create an environment where older individuals can intentionally share their knowledge, support, and values with younger members of the church. This program aims to foster new friendships and ultimately bring people closer to God.
Each month we will be offering new activities to bring seniors from the church and community together in an atmosphere where they can hear the gospel. We also provide opportunities for seniors to show love and support to others from the church and community and to serve others with their gifts and abilities that God has given them.
Our goal is to minister to the body, soul, and spirit of seniors. We want to help people follow Jesus and let them know that they don't have to do that on their own. We meet once a month for a social time with a short devotional to provide an opportunity for all seniors to experience encouragement and community.
This will be starting April 11th and will be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 1-3 PM. Our facility is wheelchair accessible.
Let's enjoy this time together and feel free to bring your friends along!
We hope you can join us once a month as our seniors get together.

We are excited to share with you some fantastic upcoming events at KPC Seniors that we believe you won't want to miss:
On May 9th, Jansen Law and Hulse Playfair & McGarry Funeral Home will present an informative session on the importance of wills, power of attorneys, and pre-planning funeral options. This session will provide you with important insights and practical tips on how to prepare for the future and help you ensure your family carries out your wishes.
End of life planning is essential because it allows you to make your own decisions about your care, finances and estate. Without proper end-of-life planning, loved ones are left to make difficult decisions without guidance, which can lead to disagreements and unnecessary stress. Benefits of end-of-life planning include alleviating emotional and financial stress, ensuring your wishes are honored, emotional closure and saving money. Important considerations for end-of-life planning include creating a Will, naming an executor of your estate, updating beneficiaries, making health care decisions and advance directives, planning for health care expenses and organizing legal documents.
If you were unable to attend this week and would like more information about this event, please contact Yvonne Cassalman.
We are considering hosting a similar event in the upcoming months in the evening for all members of the church to attend, so please inform Yvonne if you are interested in attending.

On June 13th, an OPP officer from the Fraud Department will lead a presentation on "How to Protect Yourself from Fraud Attempts". This session will help you gain a better understanding of the different types of fraud and how to avoid becoming a victim.
The focus is on the evolution of fraud and empowering you with the knowledge and tools needed to combat it. Police say recognizing the tactics used by fraudsters is crucial in safeguarding against financial losses. Despite ongoing efforts, fraud remains rampant, with cyber-enabled scams comprising a substantial portion of reported incidents.
Come and join us for a Day Away at Ottawa Valley Pentecostal Camp on Thursday, July 11th, during the second week of Family Camp. We will attend the morning service at 10 am and spend the day there. Please meet at KPC at 8:15 am for departure.
Don't forget to bring a lawn chair and your preferred drinks for the day. We will provide BBQ hamburgers and bottled water. Additionally, please sign up to bring a salad, hamburger buns, a dessert, fruit or veggie tray, or any kind of snacks.
The tuckshop will be open during the second week of family camp, so bring some cash if you'd like to buy some special treats. If you sign up to stay for the evening service, you can buy your meal at the dining hall for approximately $16 (cash).
